On Tuesday 24^th of January Zahra S, Zoya M and Apasra C competed in the Senior Youth Speaks competition speaking on the topic 'would you want to live forever?'

The team did extremely well in their preparation and delivery of their speech. Apasra was asked a question by the panel on the evening and answered this professionally with detail and reference to her speech. 

Although we did not come away with the winning trophy they are winners in our eyes as they spoke eloquently and with passion on a challenging topic. The three students got feedback from the judges and were given some tips to help them in any future competitions and speeches that they may need to do. This, we are sure will be beneficial for the rest of their school career as well as in their life beyond The Matthew Arnold School.
